How many people in Michigan.....?
are in foreclosure, can't find a job and have no where to go? And could some one please tell me, if i let it go how long do i have before i have to move out? I'm scared to death, my credit sucks, have 3 dogs and a fiancee'. We tried so hard to keep up the payments, but his business fell off last summer and now we can't catch up and the mortage company keeps hanging up on me, when they call. Does any one want to buy my house and let us pay you? Just a thought?!. And no cruel answers please, alot of us are in the same boat.

- I live an work in Metro Detroit. There I'm not in forclosure, but I'd love to move out of state, but there is no way I could sell my house in today's market without loosing my ***. I work closely w/ a lot of economic development people, and all stats are leading toward our economy picking up in 2012, and to be strong again by 2017.
- While I have no honest helpful answer, you are right. There are a lot of people in the same boat. Failed business and closure. We just let ours foreclose, there wasn't much we could do, we saved up enough to get 1 months rent an apartment in a different town. I was able to find work, but it still blows. If your going to stay in Michigan then move to a college town, or one with a casino, they seem to be the only business that are still working in this broke down economy. If you can you should just move in with family, his or yours. I know it sucks but i think we will see a huge surge in extended families living together real soon.
- 1 out of 29 homes in Wayne County are in some stage of foreclosure. I'm not sure how long you'll have. I'm in your boat... with three kids! I hope you pull through. Good Luck. I'm going to buy a lottery ticket for that $200 Mil.
- These are troubled times and I'm sorry for your difficulty. Could you afford to make the payments that you had been making before, if you could get out of the hole that you are in? If so, there are companies that specialize in negotiating with lenders to try and stop foreclosures. I am not in the business myself, but I know of one. If you email or IM I will give you their info. I'm not trolling for business, and it isn't my company so there's no need for "thumbs down" on this answer....
