I wanted to find out what all the buzz is about these government tax foreclosures.. are they a scam or real?

And can u really profit from these? Also How would I start if i wanted to try buyin them? And can u really profit from these? Also How would I start if i wanted to try buyin them? And where can u find the lists of these govt foreclosures and how come not many people know about them?

1. Foreclosures are real. The scams are the "get rich quick in foreclosures" programs that are sold on TV.
2. In every state in the US, if you don't pay your property tax, the county will sell your property for the taxes. Most of these sales are for land with no house. Usually, if there is a home on the property, there is a mortgage and no mortgage owner will let it go to a tax sale auction. The guys that tell you that they can make you rich buying at tax sales are scammers.
