What usually happens when an assessor is coming to your property to see if it can be "real property"?

I sent in the paperwork for my property to become "real property" and I have the county assesor coming to my home in th morning to measure the home. What all goes on during this time?

  1. Pretty much just measuring and checking to see what facilities are available in the home etc. Like, running water, sewer connect of some kind, four walls, a roof etc. In order for something to be classified as real property it needs to be more than a tarpaper shack more or less.
