Foreclosure-I want to move out of state?
My fiance and I are going through the foreclosure process on a home we own in Ohio. I want to move to California to stay with family but the scheduling is delicate. Do I have to stay in my house until the foreclosure goes through or until we get evicted? I would like to move early if possible, because I need to make plans before I am forced to move. Thanks for the insight!

- You do not have to stay in the home until the foreclosure is complete. You will want to let the lender know where to reach you with any communications. You don't want them to pursue deficiency judgments or other actions without your knowledge and ability to respond just because they didn't know how to notify you.
- No, you don't have to stay until the foreclosure, but you may want to talk to the lender about winterizing the place shortly after you depart. Cold house, water pipes = problems.
