What's the best way to get a list of home foreclosures / bank owned homes in your area (I live in DC)?

2. to flip or to review to buy to live in? ask a real estate broker in your area that focuses on helping buyers. I can find you one
3. Please do not limit your search to only foreclosures. If you do so it may cause you to pay to much for the house you want. In my area all bank owned homes and all HUD owned homes that have been foreclosed are listed with a real estate broker and in the MLS right along with all the other houses for sale. Look at all the houses for sale that fit your needs and your price range and buy whichever one is the best house for the price. Do not ever pay to get a list.
