Doesn't Obama realize that the road to economic recovery is ?
Why does Obama always want to demonize " healthy private business and healthy private industry " and falsely portray them as somehow being inherently evil and the cause of our economic problems ? Why doesn't Obama understand that " healthy private business/industry " are the cure.....NOT the cause of our problems ? Doesn't Obama realize that " healthy private business/industry " translates into: MORE production of goods & services creating the need for MORE Jobs HIGHER corporate tax revenues MORE economic cash flow LESS bankruptcies and foreclosures...............as the cycle begins again and our economy & private business/industry continues to grow healthier & healthier Doesn't Obama realize that the road to economic recovery is NOT through creating artificial government jobs or government takeovers of private companies but rather initiating policies ( corporate tax incentives, hiring incentives, property incentives to open new plants , etc. ) encouraging private business/ industry to become healthy and grow through the fair market system NOT through more government regulations and restrictions ? slykitty - Sorry but the meaningless rhetoric like " it's time for something different " doesn't cut it any longer. You & Obama need to realize that it is time to understand that actions speak louder than words and so far Obama has no real plan of action

- Tell the President your views. I'm sure he'd be interested to hear them.
- Sorry, friend, the Republicans tried doing it that way and all we have seen is stagnant wages, ever rising costs and recession. The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results. It's time for something different.
- Based on his actions, I would say no he does not realize that. His policies will lead to a Great Depression. I only hope it happens when he is still in office so he gets the blame. If it happens after he is out, then the poor sucker that follows him will get the blame. Isn't politics great?
- Oh I'm sure he realizes it alright. I don't believe his true agenda or goals are what they seem to be.
- ha ha ha ha do you think anyone in the government cares if we are poor if it wont make money for them your out of luck
- Its easier to print more money than to get Dem to work for it, they don't understand work as an ethic, that it pays bills and medical expenses, food, utilities, they are just looking for big government to pay for them cradle to grave. But you have to admit Obama is doing a wonderful job creating these Green jobs for everyone and the job training in the inner city's is outstandingly making a difference in the USA
- The Republicans haven't proven that their ideas (i.e. corporate tax breaks and incentives, corporate welfare, union busting, etc.) work. We had 8 years of Reagan, 4 of Bush Sr., and 8 more of Bush Jr following for exact policies and they failed.
- NAFTA.................. That's the problem. If we create new businesses that higher more people it won't be long before they move to another country and take those jobs with them. Get rid of NAFTA, then your statement could be addressed. Don't get me wrong, I'm ok with privatized health care as long as there are no co pays, all meds are one flat price, and everyone in America should be able to afford privatized health care. But what of the people that make minimum wage? Those that work less than 40 hrs. Make less than $30,000 a year for a family of 4? What about them? In my state they don't qualify for Medicaid or even the state insurance plan but can't afford medical insurance even if their employer offers it? They make too much by state standards but don't make enough to support privatized insurance. The economy figures for the health care reform, right now, is based on the average working family of 4 with under $100,000 per year income but not below $25,000. All required deductibles offered to those that have health insurance in that income bracket will have deductibles of $1000 to $2000 per person, not per family. The co pays vary from $20 to $150 per dr or emergency visit and in some cases are required up front prior to care. Right now, all over America, there are people with insurance (I would say and average of 62%) will have to make a decision to suffer silently with a flu or other severe illness or buy groceries. They will have to decide on electricity or meds. They will have to decide to go in debt over surgical proceedures or make house or rent payments. What is there for those people, my family, our friends and neighbors in the same boat? When you figure that out send it to Washington, because apparently they don't know and many others in this country don't get it either.
