How do you identify the owner real estate property in texas?
In the neighborhood I own property in there's a house which allows section 8's..for the most part anyone who has moved in there has been nothin less than good neighbors but this time its been real bad with vandalism and i'm afraid that one of my neighbors might get hurt..i don't wanna have to take matters into my own hands because i'm the youngest homeowner on the block and these ppl on my street were like family to me..so how should i find this mystery homeowner?

- Your local register of deeds will have that information. That or your property tax office. More than likely the register of deeds has a website you can go to and look up that information using just the address. Look up your county register of deeds. For instance, I live in wake county so I would look up Wake County Register Of Deeds.
- County tax records, TX is online.
- my experience is that it is easier to start at the tax assessor's office -- records are organized by address. take the owner you find there [which was true as of some time back] and search registrar of deeds for that owners name over past 18 months -- if nothing found, they still own it. if something found, read it to determine what happened and who the present owner is.
