Upcoming Foreclosures

is there a free website for foreclosures that doesn't require a credit card number for Michigan?

  1. Go to http://www.trulia.com enter the city and state. After the initial search result enter the keyword "foreclosure" (do not use quotes) under "More search options, Keyword Search" (on the left-hand side of the screen) and press the "Update" button. You should get a listing of foreclosures with pictures and a general description of the property. Each will be identified with the word "Foreclosure" in orange to the right of the address. If you click on the orange "Foreclosure" hyperlink you should get some general information about the property's location (neighborhood, map, etc.,). Clicking on the blue address hyperlink will bring up more information regarding the property. To get more specifics, however, you may have to register with the realty company. Hope this helps. John
  2. This website will have foreclosures that are now REO properties (completed the entire foreclosure process and being sold by the bank) Select the general area of the State you want to search, up to five cities, and the next screen will give choices for bank owned, government owned, or see remarks. http://moveinmichigan.com (this is not my website) Trulia has another option. On the left side of the screen in home search, uncheck resale and new construction from the home search but leave foreclosures. Then further down on the left hand side there will be additional choices Notice of Default, Auction, and Bank Owned. Most of these will not have addresses, some will be offered as "short sale" on the previous site. If you look at the map location, you can at least narrow your search to between two streets on a block.
  3. Not sure about free ones but there is an offline company who has a site who you can request an information leaflet from with the listings in the area you specify and it includes private foreclosures too.
