Where can I find a list of bank owned properties?

Where can I find a list of bank owned properties? With out having to pay any kind of fee? Without using a Real Estate agent?

Public Comments

  1. MLS if you gain access or realtracs.com or go to the court house and search yourself
  2. Nothing is free except working with a knowledgeable Realtor in the are you want to buy. Lenders only work with Realtors, they do not have the staff to deal with the public. Realtors today have gotten a real education when it comes to these properties, education and knowledge about these properties, that might keep you from making a costly mistake in buying. Realtors have the inside knowledge that you can't get off a website. And again their services is FREE, and they do the legwork, they are already educated and know the market, what do you think you will save by going it alone?
  3. Bank owned properties are usually listed by REO (Real Estate Owned) Agents. These REO agents will list the properties in their respective MLS board. I have no idea where you live so I cannot help you with that. However, you can contact the bank and browse through their listings that they own. You can go here: http://actioninvestornetwork.blogspot.com/2008/01/reo-homes.html and it will list some banks that you can contact. Also, you can go to Action Investor Network http://www.ActionInvestorNetwork.com and browse through some Wholesale Real Estate properties and soon http://www.ForeclosureHomeInvestors.com for foreclosure listings. Good Luck!
