Which part of the stimulus plan addresses the dramatic increase in home foreclosures?
From 1990 to 2004, foreclosures were about 1/2% of all home loans, and by November 2008 they have quadrupled. Hello? Anyone out there paying attention?

- Not any part that I saw. I just see stupid liberal crap and entitlements. The current stimulus package (that no GOP member voted for) does not address ANY of our nation's current problems. It pays off liberal campaign donors and buys votes for the next election.
- I must have missed that part, although I must admit, I didn't read all pages. It would have taken days to get through.
- About $5 billion of the 'stimulous' would go to Acorn Housing Corporation - which has many organizations within/under the Acorn name also. They are the only ones qualified BY government to accept and execute directives from the government. The concept is to keep people in 'foreclosed homes' by forcing banks to readjust mortgages. This will further impact banks into more 'write offs' Acorn Housing Corporation: http://www.consumersrightsleague.org/UploadedFiles/ACORN_AHC_Report.pdf The cover for the transfer can be found on pages 221-222 of "The House Bail Out Bill": Under "Community Development Fund" http://www.rules.house.gov/111/LegText/111_hr1_text.pdf The code name is "Neighborhood Stabilization Activities" - to further force bad loans on banks! Edit: Anyone that doubts Acorn's Corruption should read this: http://www.reuters.com/article/pressRelease/idUS215835+10-Jul-2008+PRN20080710
- HAH ! Isn't that what got this whole ball rolling in the first place? As for Congressmen Dodd and Frank, I will not hold my breath.
