John Beck's Free & Clear Real Estate System: Is this for real or is it a scam?
This one seems too good to be true, yet they claim that they can't claim that you can buy government tax foreclosure sales for pennies on the dollar unless it was true. Does anyone know about this company OR if you can really buy homes for only hundreds of dollars? Am I a big sap for even thinking this could be for real?

- Scam.
- Sure you can buy for pennies on the dollar, but it might be 99 pennies, mightn't it? Plus the thousands you gave them.
- This guy sells the idea of buying property through the purchase of tax liens. This is no scam, each county in the United States have regular scheduled tax sales. I am sure if you called your county in which you residem, they will be able to provide information about their tax schedule and methods that you might invest in them If you pay the tax lien which are normally not at all high, the county in which the property is located eventually foreclose on the property for non-payment of taxes in your favor since you have paid the taxes for the home owner. If the home owner eventually pays the taxes they are charged interest which goes to you also, since there is interest on bin late in paying your taxes. Since the taxes wipe out any other mortgage both first and second on the property you pick up the property for paying the property taxes. You should check with your local book store for or library for books on the subject. I am sure that once you have learned the techniques, you will might think of using this investment tool. If you don't get the house because the taxes are brought current, at least you get a hefty interest rate on your investment, and the investment is not that much. I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck. "FIGHT ON"
- Frst of all...no, you're not a sap for thinking this could be real. That's what the marketing geniuses get paid the big bucks for...making average people like you and I believe that for pennies on the dollar, we can be rich beyond our wildest dreams. Unfortunately, we live in an "information is priceless" world. There is no set price for information. I can sell a meatloaf recipie for $1000 if someone is willing to pay that much for it and as long as it's an actual recipie to make a meatloaf with. There's no requirement on how good the meatloaf has to be. Much like Carlton Sheets and Don Lupree's (I've tried them both) real estate information is actual information, but the chances of the average person making millions of dollars from using this info is very slim. Making millions in the real estate business is very hard work, even for seasoned professionals who have spent many years selling properties. After reviewing the Sheets and Lupree information packages, I've found that the only people who are making millions of dollars from these packages, are the ones who are selling the information packages. Don't get me wrong...I'm not talking badly about either Carlton, or Don. In fact, I know that Don is a very wealthy and wise young man who currently lives very well in the state of Arizona. I've driven past his home many times. It's awesome. He indeed did make his fortune starting out in a 1br apartment and did become a real estate genius. However much like any profession, he worked very long and very hard to get to that status. If all anyone had to do was send $399 to receive these information packages and become instant millionaires, that would be awesome...because then, the whole world would be full of very rich people and there would be no more homelessness and poverty. If you truely want to sell real estate, I'd highly recommend going to school, get your license and work your butt off. Even this method won't make you an instant millionaire, but with lots of hard work and time, you'll be living well. Otherwise, I'm afraid that if you purchase the John Beck's info package with the dreams of being an overnight success, it won't be long before it's just sitting on a shelf in your closet. The frustration and aggravation will set in and you will soon be seeking out another way to make millions from doing something else. I hope this helps. Have a great day! PS... Do you know anyone who'd like to buy a slightly used Carlton Sheets, or Don Lupree information package? LOL
- Great answer from Blues Stringer.
- Just to follow up on what Blues Stringer said ..... Don Lapre has been prooven to be a con artist. He even still has some informercials on the air, but he doesn't appear in them. Instead, he uses big-breasted women to pitch his product for him. But for Carlton Sheets, he does offer usable information in his package. The only trouble with it is that it is a system that is VERY involved, and most people wouldn't have the time or desire to do what it takes to make it really work for them.
- You can. There's a book called "The 16% Solution" that tells you all about it. There's different laws in different states.
