- Here is one site. It's limited but you should be able to find something. I had a investor who buy properties cheap and sell for as low as $5000. http://www.bid4assets.com You definetely don't need a foreclosure list to find homes in Detroit. They are everywhere just like in Ohio! You can find a house that needs very little fixing to nothing for around $34,000-$70,000+ in good neighborhoods. Just search your local MLS or get a realtor that specializes in Foreclosures. I bought one that was in better condition then most homes for sale by owners. They just needed new paint and carpet and rest was move in ready. Some may have holes in the wall or the owner may have broke windows on purpose but don't let that scare you away because its a cheap fix! Good luck!
- You can go to your county website and view the public records to properties that are in foreclosure. Another option is to try and find a consumer MLS website that allows you to search properties based on YOUR search criteria. Type in "detroit MI consumer MLS" in your google search bar and this may assist you in finding a free site.
