What does it mean to vacate in a foreclosure?
I was the winning bidder at a sheriff sale in Ohio. The plaintiff has filed a motion to vacate, what does this mean? Also, the previous owner is still in the home how can we get him out and make sure he doesnt destroy it in the process? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

- They are asking the court to invalidate the sale. And until its been throught the court I doubt you can get them to move.
- call sheriff and watch him trowing them out :)
- It sounds like they are asking the court to "void" the sale. Until the court has ruled on that, the previous owner probably will not be required to move out.
