  1. u have to be legally evicted. Usually 1-2 weeks.
  2. Foreclosure in NYC, I'm a real estate agent and I would like to ask you a question. I know how to help anyone in foreclosure by i.e. short sale, or getting one of my investors to give them a tempory loan until they are back on their feet. However, I can't get anyone in foreclosure to answer my letter. What can I do (other than going to their house) to get them to contact me for help.
  3. It all depends, in some cases for as long as 6 months and as short as 3 months. You could stay longer if you have children or if your a disabled person. If you fight the eviction and ask the judge for more time that could work in your favor. But just because your house is in foreclosure does not mean your going to get evicted, that owner would have to loose the house to the bank in order for the process to start. It takes up to a year in a half, some times two years depending on the location of the property for a house to go to auction. May I can help you, email me.
  4. State Foreclosure Laws: http://www.foreclosures.com/www/pages/state_laws.asp A lot people giving advice are also looking to give you a loan (its not advise, its advertising), if they are not local to you and you can’t get to them within 1 hour don’t fall for it. They say they are licensed in all 50 states, what does that mean? Which state do you have to look in first if something goes wrong? KEEP IT LOCAL! Remember Buddha's advice: "Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense." You are the only "expert" you can trust: All brokers, and every other loan officer guru giving advice here with a .com or contact me at the end (its not advise, its advertising) is "selling" you something. Don't buy "it."
