what is the government doing about deficiency judgments for people who loose there home in foreclosure?

1. Nothing that I know of for deficiency judgments. They have allowed the forgiveness of the debt to no longer be taxable and encouraged lenders to work with those facing foreclosure. That's plenty in my opinion. Heck, the government didn't get into these loans, the individuals did.
2. The only programs they've made available so far are the FHA SECURE program.
